Client profile

The Residency Signature Madurai is a new five-star luxury hotel and convention center located on Airport Road in Perungudi, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
The property features 191 rooms and nearly 80,000 sq ft of event space, positioning it as a major hospitality and events destination in the region.

With a large property, multiple operational areas, and a high volume of guests, employees, and vehicles, the hotel required a comprehensive surveillance solution capable of supporting both security and day-to-day operations.

Project background

The Residency Signature Madurai was looking for a complete video surveillance solution covering cameras, video management, and video analytics from a single technology provider.

The key requirements included perimeter protection, automated vehicle monitoring, people counting in operational areas, and identification of unauthorized individuals entering restricted zones.

Previously, vehicle entry and exit information required manual recording, while identifying unauthorized access and determining the number of employees present in particular areas was difficult.

Solution

TRASSIR provided a centralized video surveillance and analytics platform designed to address these requirements through a combination of video management and AI-powered analytics.

The solution included:

    • NeuroStation 8800R/128
    • Promo AnyIP
    • Neuro Detector
    • AutoTRASSIR

Neuro Detector provides intelligent perimeter and restricted-area monitoring, generating automatic notifications and alarms when people enter protected zones. This allows security personnel to respond to potential unauthorized access immediately.

AutoTRASSIR+ automates vehicle monitoring, providing information about vehicle entry and exit and reducing the need for manual records.

The centralized TRASSIR environment also provides a unified interface for monitoring, analytics configuration, dashboards, and system management.

The implementation included analytical configuration, dashboard setup, and operator training.

Results and impact

The deployment gave The Residency Signature Madurai an integrated surveillance environment combining continuous video monitoring with automated security and operational analytics.

Vehicle movements can be monitored without relying on manual records, while intelligent alerts help security personnel respond quickly when unauthorized individuals enter restricted areas.

The client also highlighted the system's accuracy in number plate detection, perimeter security, and people counting.

Key benefits include:

    • Automated vehicle entry and exit monitoring
    • Intelligent perimeter and restricted-area protection
    • Instant alerts for unauthorized access
    • People-counting capabilities for operational areas
    • Centralized video management and analytics
    • Reduced reliance on manual vehicle records
    • High-accuracy detection across key security applications
    • Scalable infrastructure for future expansion

Following the successful implementation in Madurai, the client is planning to extend the solution to its Chennai location, creating an opportunity to expand the same approach across additional properties.
