Altınyaldız A.Ş. is a Turkish engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design, production, and installation of steel and aluminum space-frame systems for long-span, column-free structures.

The company operates a 10,000 m² production facility in Şekerpınar, Türkiye, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 m² of space-frame systems. For an industrial facility with production operations, equipment, and outdoor areas, reliable perimeter protection is an important part of maintaining a secure and controlled environment.

Project background

Altınyaldız already had an operational CCTV system, but the existing cameras did not provide intelligent perimeter protection or automated response to intrusion.

The objective was to strengthen security without replacing the installed camera infrastructure. The client needed a solution that could automatically detect people entering predefined restricted zones and immediately warn them through loudspeakers.

Another requirement was to control the notification system according to a defined schedule, ensuring that automatic warnings were activated only when required.

Solution

TRASSIR enhanced the existing surveillance infrastructure using:

    • TRASSIR VMS
    • Neuro Detector

Neuro Detector analyzes video from the existing cameras and detects intrusion into configured perimeter zones.
Using integrated Spintech SP703 I/O modules, TRASSIR VMS was connected to loudspeakers installed at the facility. When a person enters a restricted area, the system automatically activates an audible warning.

The notification system was also configured according to a schedule, allowing automated alerts to operate during predefined periods.
The project was implemented together with KARE BİLGİSAYAR SANAYİ VE TİCARETİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ and EFA BİLGİ SİSTEMLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ.

Results and impact

The project transformed the existing CCTV infrastructure from passive video monitoring into a proactive perimeter protection system.
Altınyaldız can now use its installed cameras to automatically detect intrusion into designated areas and immediately respond through audible warnings.

This approach strengthened perimeter security without requiring camera replacement, allowing the company to gain more value from its existing infrastructure while adding automated detection and response capabilities.
