Optimum Outlet Mall uses TRASSIR for centralized video surveillance

TRASSIR has been chosen as the video surveillance solution by Optimum Outlet Mall. It is a popular retail outlet situated in Istanbul, the capital city of Turkey.

Optimum Istanbul Shopping Mall offers convenient value shopping together with a wide array of dining and entertainment options. Optimum Outlet has most of the major brands available in Turkey including Mango, US Polo, Adidas, Nike etc.

The project has been fulfilled by PCC Elektronik that has provided TRASSIR professional video surveillance software as the exclusive distributor of TRASSIR products in Turkey.

A total of 92 IP video cameras are used to provide security on the premises. At the core of the entire system there are several powerful video servers running TRASSIR OS. They process all the data coming from video surveillance hardware.

The outside and the inside areas, corridors, all public places are being monitored. There is a dedicated control room where security staff check the video data from the surveillance equipment.

The tasks being handled by video surveillance include:

• The areas where the staff exist, the warehouse parts, the shelves, the corridors, the stands, all of the public places are all being viewed and recorded by the system.
• Shoplifters are avoided and eliminated. Video evidence can be acquired from the system in case of need.
• Visual evidence gathering is done to make analysis of conflict situations fast and reliable.
• The responsible staff monitor the system in a monitoring room, seeing all channels on a video wall.

The system has been procured to avoid thieves and enable them to act immediately in case of problems (accidents, proper fulfillment of the works, emergency situations etc.). All of these tasks are being effectively handled by TRASSIR professional video surveillance solution.
